Free Diff Tool: SourceGear DiffMerge In the midst of the new products we have just released there is one item which deserves to have a brighter light shown on it: SourceGear DiffMerge is our new application for comparing files and directories. I found two ways to configure 'SourceGear DiffMerge' as difftool and mergetool in Github Windows. The following commands in a Command Prompt window will update your. Is this unique to my scenario? Has anybody else ever tried to use command line arguments in which there are arguments that follow arguments ending in a backslash? Any ideas? Thanks. The Options Dialog allows you to fine-tune DiffMerge to better suit your needs. This is true regardless of whether I hardcode the arguments, whether I call it from a Batch File, Command Prompt, or even just Run (WIN+R), so it is not because of being in a Batch File. ![]() However, because the 2 command line arguments are both directories (which means they end in a backslash), it is trying to interpret the 2nd argument as a file in the first directory. I needed to use a Batch File (*.bat) file to do this, which was not a problem. SourceGear DiffMerge is especially useful when it comes to dealing with source code files, as besides clearly showing the differences between them and allowing you to join such files according to the detected differences, it also enables you to edit the resulting files to your liking. I'm sure there are many developers that use SourceGear's DiffMerge software: I don't know if this is the right place to ask this (I couldn't find the Forum for Visual Studio), but I don't know where else to go.
